The summer polo season begins June 1st or when weather permitting. Practices will be held most Thursday evenings during the summer at 5:30pm. Club chukkers will be played most weekends during the summer. Spectators are welcome to come to any weekly practice or club chukkers. The polo tournaments are open to spectators with a nominal fee. The Seattle Polo Party is the big social event of the summer and tickets are required for that event.

Kentucky Derby Party at W Bellevue

Hosted in the Living Room at W Bellevue, the Kentucky Derby Party kicks off the summer polo schedule. Guests are encouraged to come dressed in their garden bests. For men, their seersucker suits and for ladies their fanciful hats, as we enjoy music, specialty derby themed cocktails, lite bites and fashion in preparation for a live viewing of the "Greatest two Minutes in Sports" the 149th Kentucky Derby.

Intro to Polo 1 Day Clinic

The intro to polo clinic is a perfect way to get introduced to polo. The full one-day clinic will cover the basics of polo so that people can graduate to lessons and coaching league chukkers. The clinics are limited to 10 people.

USPA Sportsmanship CUp

The USPA Sportsmanship Cup is the first major tournament of the summer.

July 27-28

USPA Governor’s Cup

The USPA Governor’s Cup is the biggest tournament at Seattle Polo & Equestrian Club. The Pacific Northwest USPA Governor’s Cup is the largest, most prestigious polo tournament played in the Pacific Northwest. Teams from Washington, Oregon, Idaho and British Columbia come to compete in the biggest polo tournament of the summer. The USPA Cup is organized into different levels of play for everyone to be involved
